A Brief Overview

Established in 1985, PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya (ANJ), the holding company of the Austindo Group, has core businesses in financial services, oil palm, and healthcare services.The group also has minority investment in businesses that it does not control or manage. ANJ is a private Indonesian company, wholly owned by the Tahija family.

ANJ invests independently and with international partners. In its subsidiaries and associate companies ANJ ensures that:

  • investments are in industries in which Indonesia has a competitive advantage
  • the companies are market leaders, or match market leaders, in terms of efficiency and financial performance
  • management is trained with appropriate skills
  • corporate governance is of the highest standard
  • the business contributes to the social and economic development of the community in which it operates

As part of its corporate social responsibility program, ANJ works in partnership with the Tahija Foundation on a wide range of projects.
